Abstract The effect of skin cancer diagnosis on the risk of adverse outcomes from COVID-19 remains unknown. Few studies have shown cancer patients with COVID-19 have higher rates of mortality and hospitalizations compared to those without cancer, perhaps due to a combination of delayed diagnosis and pre-existing comorbidities from chemotherapy and radiation treatments.1.
